Sailing Memberships have a number of sub membership types, reflecting that Frankston beach is a very good and accessible sailing venue, for both competitive and recreational sailing. Boat storage is only available to Sailing members.

Senior Sailing Member 

A Senior member is entitled to enter all club races, sail socially whenever they see fit, enjoy club facilities and functions, receive Australian Sailing Membership and have one vote at the clubs Annual General meeting.

Senior members are also obliged to be safe and sail in accordance with the rules of sailing and any club rules applied. Further, a Senior member is also obliged to undertake rostered duties, volunteer to assist the club with events, regattas and other functions, and generally behave in a manner that demonstrates respect to other members and visitors to the club.

Student Sailing Member

A Student member is entitled to enter all club races, sail socially whenever they see fit, enjoy club facilities and functions, receive Australian Sailing   Membership and, if over 18 years of age, have one vote at the clubs Annual General meeting.

Student members are also obliged to be safe and sail in accordance with the rules of sailing and any club rules applied. Further, a Student member is also obliged to undertake rostered duties, volunteer to assist the club with events, regattas and other functions, and generally behave in a manner that demonstrates respect to other members and visitors to the club.

Family Sailing Member

A Family (two adults and two children) member is entitled to enter all club races, sail socially whenever they see fit, enjoy club facilities and functions, receive Australian Sailing   Membership and have one vote at the clubs Annual General meeting.

Family members are also obliged to be safe and sail in accordance with the rules of sailing and any club rules applied. Further, adult Family members are also obliged to undertake rostered duties, volunteer to assist the club with events, regattas and other functions, and generally behave in a manner that demonstrates respect to other members and visitors to the club.

Junior Sailing Member

A Junior member is entitled to enter all club races, sail socially whenever they see fit (with parental consent), enjoy club facilities and functions, receive Australian Sailing Membership.

‘Juniors’ and not entitled to vote at the clubs Annual General meeting.

Junior members are also obliged to be safe and sail in accordance with the rules of sailing and any club rules applied. Further, a Junior member is also obliged to generally behave in a manner that demonstrates respect to other members and visitors to the club
